Research shows that Edith Lillian Brown was the granddaughter of Newell Brown. Frank Emery Brown was the great grandson of Newell Brown. Sara Witherell Brown is the sister of Edith Lillian Brown, therefore the two sisters in the 1920 census are second cousins to Frank Brown.
