Frank Astl Jr., 90, of Northampton passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015. He was the husband of the late Bertha (Faustner) Astl. Born October 17, 1924 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Seier) Astl. Frank worked in farming all of his life, he was also employed at Modern Slacks for 17 years and he retired from the former Universal Atlas Cement Company in 1980. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church. Frank was the past president of St. Elizabeth Credit Union from 1992 - 2000 and he served on the Board of Directors for 12 years.

Survivors: son, Frank Carl Astl and his wife Diane, of Northampton, daughter, Marie, wife of David Novogratz, of Northampton, 5 grandchildren, Pam, Paula, Thomas, Kate and Kelly, 2 great grandchildren, Lindsay and Cody.

Services: A Burial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 25th at 10:30 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Wednesday 9 - 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
