Mary Estelle Martin Acree, age 83, of Austell, Georgia, passed away peacefully March 2, 2014. She was born on March 22, 1930 in New Boston, Texas to Robert Lester Martin and Tina Spann Martin. She later moved to Austell and has resided there since 1968. She was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling and joined the Bankhead and Azalea Lanes bowling leagues.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Robert Windell Acree. Survivors include daughter Anita G. Richards and her husband Randy Richards of Bowden; sister Verna Lee DeRue of New Boston, Texas; granddaughter Shanna G. Meherg and her husband Dan Meherg of Bowden; great-grandchildren Alyssa Boyd, Harmony Boyd, Clayton Meherg, and Stephen Meherg.
Funeral Services were held at White Columns Chapel with Chaplain Raymond Coffman officiating. Interment was at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
