Mr. Adams retired as a land surveyor after 45 years.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Adams; two sons, Wayne Adams of Lithia Springs and Tim Adams of Austell; two daughters, Reita Jacobson of Smyrna and Patty Crisler of Austell; his mother, Mollie Adams of Cartersville; four brothers, Riley Adams of Alabama and Emory Adams, Ronald Adams and Donald Adams, all of Cartersville; three sisters, Clemon Seymour of Douglasville and Vivian Bagley and Eloise McElroy, both of Cartersville; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
Proceeded in death; sister, Cleo Hight.
