R. Evelyn Anderson, age 62, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 29, 2001, while surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Conrado García Jr., first husband, Thomas Ward and second husband, Don Anderson.
Evelyn is survived by her mother, Frances García, brothers, Louie García and his wife, Shannon and niece, Erin, Sydney García and his wife, Pat, niece, Kerry and great-nephew, Conrad and Patricia Chasseur and her husband, Raymond. Evelyn is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
In keeping with Evelyn's wishes, she will be cremated.
We are extremely saddened by her loss and will miss her very much. Those who loved and knew her celebrate her enthusiasm for life. Evelyn will be remembered for her loving and caring ways.
A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Inurnment will follow at Bernalillo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Masses may be offered in memory of R. Evelyn Anderson.
