Mary, widow of Thomas Acker, died at her home in Longswamp on Wednesday night after a lingering illness, aged 77 years. Last fall she broke her right limb in a fall down stairs, from which she had so far recovered that she could again walk about in her room, when pyaemia set in, from which she suffered long and patiently. She was born November 12, 1833, in Longswamp. She is survived by the following children: Mary, wife of M. A. Wetzel, of Shamrock; Agnes, wife of Thomas Long, of Treichlersville; Ellen, wife of Jackson Tallman, and Oliver Acker, both of Philadelphia. Funeral, Tuesday. Interment at Longswamp Church.
