Fred Parson Ack, 86, of 246 Wood St., Westernport, Md., died, Monday, July 1, 2002, at his residence.
Born on November 14, 1915, in Luke, Md., he was the son of the late Everett and Rhoda (Huff) Ack.
Mr. Ack was a United States Marine Corp. veteran, having served during World War II. He was retired from the Devon Club in Luke with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, Piedmont, W.Va., and a member of Kelly Mansfield Post #52 American Legion, Piedmont. Mr. Ack was well known for repairing watches, and during his younger years was an avid rabbit hunter.
Surviving are his wife, Bernadine L. (Guy) Ack, and two nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Thomas Brackett officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
Pallbearers will be members of Kelly Mansfield Post #52 American Legion.
