ALBA, TEXAS-Walter Daniel Bullock was born on May 2, 1924, to William Walter Bullock and Mary Connie Hamm in Alba and passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Sweeny Community Hospital at 83 years of age. He was a lifetime area resident and a memeber of Faith Baptist Church in Sweeny. He also owned and operated Bill and Dan's Feed Store in Sweeny for 30 years. Dan was known for his wit and sense of humor. He loved his children and grandchildren and always had a story to tell.
Walter leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Maxine (Mickey)Bullock of Sweeny; one son, Billy Bullock and wife Rosemary of Lake Jackson; three daughers, Dana J. Long of Richmond, Cindy Clay of Sealy, and Deborah Williams and husband Dickey of Sweeny; four granddaughters, Amy Long, Andrea Schuerg, Kristi Clay and Rhona Rozelle. He also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren and numersou nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 11 a. m. at Enon Cemetery, Alba.
His grandsons, Craig and Chris Bullock, Richie Williams Jr., Bobby and Danny Long, and Casey Clay will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Darryn Bullock, Ed Taylor, Georege Hall, and Jim Clark.
