Maxine Jane (Curl) Bullock, 91 of Sweeny, Texas passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 18, 2016.
She was born July 9, 1925 in Guthrie County, Iowa to Gladys (Ansberry) Curl and Lee Adolph Curl.
She is survived by her daughters, Dana Long of Lakeway, Cindy Clay of Houston and Debbie Williams and husband, Dickey of Sweeny; sister, LeAnn Curl-Matlin of Rancho Mirage, California; daughter-in-law, Rosemary Bullock of Lake Jackson; grandchildren. Amy Long, Bobby Long and wife, Sara, Danny Long and wife, Maida, Darrin Bullock, Craig Bullock and wife, Angela, Chris Bullock and wife, Kathy, Kristi Schmidt and husband, Chris, Casey Clay, Richard Williams and wife, Vickie, Andrea Schuerg and husband, David;17 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter Daniel (Dan) Bullock; son, Billy Bullock; and sister, Jeanne Milliman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030.
A gathering of friends and families will be held at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia on Monday, July 25 from 5 pm – 7 pm.
She will be returned to her hometown of Guthrie Center, Iowa.
