Goldie Anderson, 81, of New Alexandria, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, in UPMC Presbyterian, Oakland. She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Andy and Laura Maggard Vanover.
Goldie was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church of Dorton, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aron, on Oct. 14, 1992.
She is survived by three daughters, Vonnie Dunn, Wanda Breeden and Shirley Roebuck; three sons-in-law, Jame Dunn, Wilburn Breeden and Fred Roebuck; two granddaughters; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
Services were held Thursday in the Newhouse Funeral Home, New Alexandria with the Rev. Terry J. Carnahan officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery in New Alexandria.
