Nancy A. Baker, 44, of New Alexandria, formerly of Delmont, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 30, 2007, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born Sept. 1, 1962 in Greensburg, the daughter of David and Judy Baker, of Delmont, and maternal granddaughter of Robert E. Stevenson, of New Alexandria.
Nancy was a homemaker and she was of the Christian faith.
Nancy is survived by her fiancŽ, Rich Weimer, New Alexandria; two daughters, Cassandra Sawetzka, Wilmerding, and Kerrigan Ban, New Alexandria; two grandchildren, Kristina and Jason Marin; a brother, David R. Baker and wife Tammy, New Kensington; a sister, Melissa M. Caldwell and husband Paul, RD Saltsburg; and two nieces, Nicole and Lindsay.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nancy Stevenson; and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Rebecca Baker.
Friends were received Wednesday in the P. David Newhouse Funeral Home, New Alexandria. Services were held Thursday in the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Reiner of the Salina Bible Church officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.
