Audrey Nell Boyd, 89, of Robinson, Illinois died at 12:39 a.m. (EST) on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She was born on October 5, 1923 in Decker Township, Noble, Illinois, the daughter of Glen and Clarissa (Parsons) Bourne.
She retired from L.S. Heath & Sons, having worked as a line operator for many years.
She belonged to the Kirk Chapel Methodist Church in Robinson.
Audrey loved gardening and was an avid antique collector.
Audrey married Loyal Boyd on November 24, 1943 and he survives. Also surviving are their sons and daughters-in-laws, Dale & Terri Boyd (Chatham, IL) and Don & Rosebud of Robinson.; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law Freda & Don Foll (Noble, IL); her brothers-in-law, Harold & Wanda Boyd of Robinson and Ward & Deloris Boyd (Robinson) as well as many nieces & nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor Shelia Ducommon and Rev. Brandon Boyd officiating.
Burial will follow at the Kirk Chapel Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation preceding the service from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kirk Chapel Church or the Robinson Food Pantry with envelopes available at the funeral home.
