Son of John Taylor (born England) and Rebecca Miller (born Ohio). Married Loretta Barton December 30, 1883, to this union was born eight children. He is survived by two daughters Grace R Taylor Tracy,and Opal F Taylor Tracy; three sons Leroy Taylor all of Crawford County, Illinois; Lewis Frank Taylor of Terre Haute, Indiana; Clarence E Taylor of Texas. The other three children Willie, Dora, and Noble all died in infancy and preceed him in death.
