She came to Illinois in 1868 and has resided in this county ever since.
She was united in marriage to Lewis F. Taylor December 30, 1883. To this union were born eight children, five of whom survive: L. Frank Taylor, Leroy Taylor, Grace R. Tracy, Opal F. Tracy, all of Crawford county, and Clarence Taylor of Shreveport, La. Three died in infancy, Willie, Dora and Noble.
