Monday night Elijah Tracy started from Mount Carmel with his stallion, getting in the same car with the horse, having the door closed from the outside, and instructing the brakeman to open the car in Robinson. On arriving here and opening the car, Mr. Tracy was found to be down in the car and badly hurt, having been either kicked or trampled by the horse. He was brought to the Robinson House, and soon became speechless, and died at ten o'clock Tuesday morning.
