Paul Edwards, 80, of Robbinsville, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Britthaven of Graham.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Clyde and Daisy Massey Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Edwards; and sister, Maxine Greene.
He is survived by his son, Brian Edwards of Robbinsville; daughter, Gail Solesbee of Kodiak, Alaska; brothers, Doug Edwards, Marvin "Thumpy" Edwards, both of Robbinsville; sister, Roma Buchanan of Pensacola, Fla.; and grandchildren, Matthew and MiKayla Edwards.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 17, at New Hope Baptist Church. The Revs. Tommy Hooper and David Blackney officiated. Committal services were held Wednesday at Massey Cemetery.
Townson-Smith Funeral Home was in charge.
