STUMPY POINT - Jeanette Payne Crank, 74, of Stumpy Point, died Feb 10 in a
Norfolk, Va. hospital.
Mrs. Crank, a native of Engelhard was the daughter of the late Hyman G. and
Annie Brinn Payne and the widow of Carl Leroy Crank. She was a homemaker and
member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter: Dianna Fugit of Boise, Idaho and one son:
Raymond Crank of Tacoma, Wash.; 2 nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held at Shiloh United Methodist Church on Wednesday,
Feb. 13 by the Rev. Clarence O'Briant. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery. Twiford's Colony Chapel of Manteo is in charge of arrangements.
