Delores (Lois Ann) Armistead, 67, of Cobbs Creek passed away on September 17, 2017. She was a devoted wife, loving and wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother Martha Shields, father Melvin Armistead, sister Virginia (Ginny) Clark and brothers Richard and Jamie Armistead.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Ralph Armistead, sons Jeffery Armistead and Brian Armistead and her daughter Sheila Armistead Pierson; three grandchildren Glenna Armistead Smith (Derrick), Nikki Pierson Owens (Dustin) and BJ Pierson; great-grandson Levi Smith and (unborn) Baby Owens; sister Nancy Forrest and nieces, nephews and her close friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Faulkner Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, VA., followed by a funeral service at 11 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at H. C. Smither Cemetery Hudgins, VA.
