A graveside funeral was held at 2 pm Tuesday in H.C. Smither Cemetery, for Mrs. Rachel Hudgins Adams, 60, of Hampton, who died on Sunday December 21, 1980 in a Hampton hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Adams, a native of Mathews, was a member of Mathews Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E Adams; a son, Raymond Garrett of Norfolk; and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Hawkins of Hampton and Mrs. Eula Brady of Rochester, New York.
