Ward Lester Adams was from Mishawaka, Indiana. The 1910 Census shows that he lived in Penn Township with his brother John's family and that he was employed as a heeler trimmer in the woolen industry.

He was a Chief Electrician in the U.S. Navy. He died at sea September 28, 1918.
