Mr. Ahl, of Attica, NY was retired from the NY State Dept. of Corrections as a lieutenant in 1995. He had served in the US Marine Corp From 1953-1959. He was also a part-time police officer in the village of Attica. He was an avid golfer and had scored his 4th hole-in-one on Jan. 14, 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara; 3 daughters, Deborah (Harold) Cratsley, Sandra Prusak and Janet (Michael) Smart; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Joyce) Randall, Everett (Jean) Smith, Alan (Dianne) Brown and Roger (Letty) Brown; sisters, Helen Sanderson, Margaret Arndt, Patricia Spring, and Barbara (Jerry) Farraenola; brother-in-law, Olen (Charlotte) Kline and sister-in-law, Diane (John) Collins.
He was the son of the late Wesley Randall and Ethel Ahl Brown and brother of the late Mary Burkel.
