Lisa Angela Fontenet Dugar, 49, a resident and native of Verdunville, LA., passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Iberia Medical Center at 6:20 AM.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Nazarene Baptist Church Highway 182 Franklin (Verdunville), LA from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow services in the Little Zion Church Cemetery in Franklin (Verdunville), LA.
Memories of Lisa will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Author Dugar; her parents, Henry and Eliza K. Fontenet; two sons, Airman Arthur J. Fontenot and Henry Joshua Fontenot, Jr. all of Verdunville, LA; three sisters, April Fontenet of Lafayette, LA,Katina Fontenet of Verdunville, LA and Ann Cyrus (George) of Prattville, AL; two grandchildren, Briahnna Fontenet and Joshua Fontenet and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by a sibling; her paternal grandparents, Wilbert and Irene Fontenet and her maternal grandparents, Bennie Ford and Annie B. Blackburn.
