Mary Lou Myers Beltz went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2014.

She was born on July 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Beulah Mae and Junior Webster Myers of Arthurdale, WV.

While visiting her brother in Michigan, she met the man with whom she would later marry and spend 55 years. Charles Beltz (1932-2006) joined the Air Force and his wife was with him every step of the way.

They had two children, Steven Beltz (1952) and Louella Ann Beltz Parks (1953). The family traveled all over the globe including the Unites States, Guam and Europe; but home was always in West Virginia.

She loved with every fiber in her being. Mary left her mark on everyone she met. She never shyed away from the truth and said what was on her mind. You could normally find her either in the kitchen enjoying her radio and coffee or sitting at the dining room table with a deck of cards. She enjoyed traveling and was most comfortable behind the wheel, some would even say she had a heavy foot. She was a unique individual and there will never be another with her spark.

Mary is survived by two sisters, Juanita "Neat" Gilespie of Arthurdale and Gloria Jean Jones of Tennessee; three brothers, Thomas "Bud" Myers and Vernon Myers of Clarkston, MI and Cecil "Dutch" Myers of Dayton, Ohio; a son, Steven Beltz of Arthurdale, WV; a daughter, Louella Ann Beltz Parks of Morganton, NC; two granddaughters, Amanda Christine Parks Simmons of Morganton, NC and Ricarda Lea Parks Weaver of Tunnelton, WV; great-grandson Caleb Austin Weaver and was expecting to greet her great-granddaughter, Reeva Lorraine Weaver in November of 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arthur Beltz and five brothers, Donald "Pete" Myers, Howard Myers, Elwood "Horse" Myers, Paul Myers, and Dennis Myers; granddaughter, Lorraine Marie Perry and her parents Junior Webster and Beulah Mae Myers.

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Sunday, October 5, 2014
from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. service time with Pastor Edward Rockwell officiating. Cremation services will follow.

Inurnment will be in the Arthurdale Cemetery at a later date
