William B. "Jack" Adams was born on August 24, 1921, in Ireland, WV, a son of the late Hiram S. Walter Adams and Tempi Rector Combs Adams. On June 25, 1966, he married Mary Jo Warner, and they celebrated 41 years of marriage. He is survived by two nephews, Dr. Larry Smith, Pittsburgh, PA; and Robert G. White, Memphis, TN. Jack was a graduate of Lost Creek High School where he was president of his senior class. He was employed at Harrison County Bank in Lost Creek and the Union National Bank in Clarksburg, where he retired in January 1987 as Vice-President of Operations after 35 years of service. After retirement he delivered Meals on Wheels and volunteered at United Hospital Center at the Hospitality Desk. He was a 50-year member of Bridgeport Late Lodge #63, AF & AM; a member of Scottish Rite bodies of Clarksburg and Wheeling; and a member of Nemesis Shrine Temple of Parkersburg. In 1991, he was coroneted an Inspector General 33rd Degree by the Supreme Council of Scottish Rite in Washington, DC.
