Cesare J. "Chet" Angioletti, age 81, of Brewster, NY, died Monday, January 8, 2001 in Valhalla, NY. Mr. Angioletti was born March 19, 1919 in Mahopac, NY to Nazareno and Franca (Santini) Angioletti. He attended schools in Mahopac and had been a sergeant in the US Army during World War II serving from 1941 to 1945. Mr. Angioletti married Eileen Dolan on November 16, 1946 at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster. Mrs. Angioletti died May 6, 1999. Mr. Angioletti was a Supervisor at New York State Electric and Gas in Brewster for 35 years before retiring in 1981. He had been a resident of Brewster since 1946, having lived in Mahopac prior. Mr. Angioletti was a charter member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, lodge #2101 in Brewster. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Lawrence Council #1495, having served as Grand Knight from 1952 to 1954. He was also a former town chairman of the Southeast Republican Party. Mr. Angioletti is survived by a son, Robert J. Angioletti of Wappingers Falls, NY, a daughter, Jean M. Muendel of Brewster, and three grandsons, Mark and Ryan Angioletti and Jeffrey Muendel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 12, 2001 10 am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Brewster. Interment at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Brewster. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
