He was a truck driver for OST Trucking. He was in the Class of 1981 at Franklin High School. He was on the roller skating race team at Sportsman's Hall. He enjoyed biking, the gym, riding horses, and was an avid motorcyclist. Years ago he was a Cub Scout. He was an organ donor.
Surviving in addition to his parents are sister, Kimberly L. Abbott of Hampstead, MD, sister in law, Dawn M. Abbott, nephew, Eric Lee Abbott and niece Jennifer Renae Abbott all of Hampstead, MD. He was predeceased by his brother, Kris Lee Abbott, grandparents, Russell and Bernice Abbott, Leonard and Ethel Grote and a cousin, Kent L. Cullison.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD
