Robert Byron Abel, 36, of Taneytown, Md., died Saturday, Aug. 20, as the result of a farming accident at his residence. He was the husband of Melissa Mae Weishaar Abel.
Born Nov. 20, 1957, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Hazel Wolf Abel.
Abel was a maintenance employee for the City of Westminster, Md., He graduated from Francis Scott Key High School in 1976.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Heather Lynn, Jessica Ann and April Ann Abel, and one son Robert Daniel Abel, all at home.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
