Elton "Bud" Adams, 84, of Modesto died Tuesday in Modesto.

Mr. Adams was a native of Stidham, Okla. He lived in Modesto two years. He served in the Air Force for 20 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Atwater.

He is survived by his three stepsons, nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Winton District Cemetery, Winton. No visitation. Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home, Atwater, in charge of arrangements.

Remembrances may be made to First Baptist Church, 1683 Fifth St., Atwater 95301; or Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Organization, 416 Downey Ave., Modesto 95354.
