Albert Z. "Jeff" Ammons, 92, of Pentress died Saturday March 19, 1994 at a daughter's home in Daybrook. He was born Nov. 7, 1901, in Spraggs, Pa., son of the late Warren and Lena Copeland Ammons. His wife, Linnie N. Ammons, died July
1, 1986. He is survived by three sons, five daughters, 20
grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; two step-grand children and one step-great-grandchild.He was also preceded in death by four brothers, one sons, one grandchild and one great-great grandchild. He was a section foreman at Consolidation Coal Co.'s
Pursglove No. 15 mine for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Faith Christian Assembly Church of Pentress. Burial was at Olive Cemetery in
Pentress.
