MILTON - Barnes, Richard "Dick," 79, retired farmer, of Harper, born Dec. 10, 1928, died Aug. 7, 2008. Visitation with family 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs; service 10:30 a.m. Monday, Milton United Methodist Church, Milton. He was a 1947 Milton High School graduate.

Preceded by parents Kenneth and Vella Wheeler Barnes, brothers, Robert, Kenneth and Alan.

Survivors: wife, Jo Ann (Raup) of the home; his family, Douglas (Cindy), Gary (Vickie) all of Milton, Debra (Thomas) Blankenship of Haven, Greg of Pratt, Cheri (Ray) Bishop of Morrison, CO, Donnie (Lorrie) Gilley of Colorado Springs; brother, Darrel (Carol) Barnes of Norwich; sister, Linda Price of Waco, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with Milton United Methodist Church or Pleasant View Home Activity Fund.
