Thomas Guy Brandon, 70, a prominent farmer and resident of the Brush Hill Community for 60 years, died suddenly at his home Tuesday morning following a heart attack. Funeral services will be held at the Smith Funeral home chapel at 10:00 a. m. Friday with Rev. Wayne Smothers, pastor of the Bartlesville Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Fame cemetery. Born in Winchester, Tenn., on September 16, 1894, Brandon moved to Oklahoma with his parents at an early age. Active pallbearers will be: Orville Wiser, Pearl Gordon, Elmer Morgan, A. M. McGowan, Gene Thrasher and J. Robertson. Honorary bearers will include Lundy Allen, A. V. Ellis, Joe Williams, B. Prater and Jackson Emerson. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Jane Schnell of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Ida Thompson of Bartlesville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Maxine Murry of Checotah; two stepsons, Frank Wood of Los Angeles, Calif., and Earl Wood of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Mansel of Checotah and George of Bakersfield, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
