Murder Victim. From 1977 to 1978, the northeast section of Los Angeles, California was terrorized by two serial killers known as the Hillside Stranglers. Cindy Hudspeth was murdered on Thursday, February 16, 1978. Her body was put into the trunk of her Datsun and was pushed off a cliff on Angeles Crest Highway. The next day when the police investigated, it was clear from the ligature marks that it was the Hillside Strangler.
