Film Producer, Director, and Editor. He produced episodes of "Kraft Suspense Theater," "Space Academy," "Isis," "Shazam!" and "Jason of Star Command." He worked as an editor on episodes of "Death Valley Days," "Omnibus," "Adventures of the Falcon" and the film "The Littlest Hobo." He directed episodes of "The Rifleman," also executive producer, "The Big Valley," "The Virginian" and producer, "The Hugh Chaparral," "Lassie," "Streets of San Francisco," "Bonanza" and "Chase." He also directed the Elvis Presley feature film "Clambake" in 1967. He received two Emmys; the first for "Welcome Home," an NBC special about the return of Vietnam veterans that he wrote, directed and produced. The second was for "Crime Without Punishment" in 1975, an expose on the juvenile justice system, which he directed and produced. He was the recipient of the Scott Newman Award and a board member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
