Hawaiian Chief, and later, Governor of Oahu. Boki sailed to England with Kamehameha II and others, but Kamehameha II and his wife died there. It fell to Boki to take charge of returning the bodies. After returning to Hawaii, he resumed his role as governor, but by 1829, he was in debt and organized an expedition to collect sandalwood from the New Hebrides. He placed his wife, Liliha, in charge of his official duties. After setting sail, Boki, his men, and the ships were never seen again.
