Jazz Bandleader. Johnny Hamp's Kentucky Serenaders (later called Johnny Hamp & His Orchestra) toured the US and Europe in the 1920-1940s. Best known for the 1926 hit "Black Bottom." He is buried with his second wife, Ruth Hamp.
