Rap Artist. He is best known as DJ E-Z Rock. He partnered with his longtime friend, Rob Base. The hip hop duo's biggest hit "It Takes Two" became a hip-hop classic in 1988, it became a multi-platinum single certification. The duo became pioneers of the crossover success that rap music would have in the popular music mainsteam. After he was forced to leave the group due to personal issues, he recorded a solo album in 1989, Turn It Out (Go Base), only one song hit the dance floor. In 1994 the duo reunited and recorded their last album Break of Dawn. He died from a diabetic seizure.
