He reported for example terrorist attacks in America on 11th September 2001 and attack on Iraq and Poland's entry to European Union. Diagnosed with cancer in 2000, he said to his TV audience after coming back to work, "It's true that I'm sick, but important part of my fight with it it's my work, that's why I decided to come back. My doctors, friends in work and family understand it and I hope that y'll understand it too." After his death, he was awarded the Grand Press Award, the highest award in Polish journalism.
