Negro Leagues Baseball Player. Also listed as Tom Finney or Findley, played for over 10 years before his death in 1933. Became the starting shortstop for the Washington Potomacs of the Eastern Colored League in 1924. Began the 1925 season with the Atlantic City Bacharach Giants before being traded to the New York Lincoln Giants along with Charles Mason for star third baseman Oliver Marcelle. By 1927, he had moved on to the Brooklyn Royal Giants were he played both shortstop and third base. He would then play for the New York Black Yankees and Baltimore Black Sox before joining Ed Bolden's Philadelphia Stars in 1933. A spiking accident contributed to his death during the season, and team owner Bolden delivered a prayer at his funeral.
