Colin Campbell Mouat, age 66, died September 15th, 2002 at 6:23 a.m. in Lancaster, CA. Colin was born in England in 1936 and in 1942, during WWII, his family moved from England to Scotland to avoid the bombings and later located in the United States. Colin was an Emmy Winning Award Sound Effects Editor and Supervising Sound Editor in Hollywood for many years. Colin is survived by his wife of 36 years, Bonnie, his son Keith and a daughter; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Saturday, 28 September 2002 at the Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel in Lancaster, CA. There were three eulogys given, two of which were long-time friends of Colin's from his Neiman-Tillar Associates days; Charles Campbell and Bruce Richardson, who are both award winning sound editors and supervisors.
