Joyce Safford Anderson Donegan, "Mama A" former Lynbrook and Monte Vista High School teacher died August 21st, 2015. She grew up in Pennsylvania and joined the Marine Corp at 19. She graduated from San Jose State in 1960.
A Korean War Veteran, she spent the last years of her life at the Veteran's Home in Yountville, CA. She is survived by her son Biff Anderson (Died 8/14/17), daughter Janel Prince, 2 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren.
There was a service held at the Yountville Veteran's Home Chapel, 10am Thurs, Sept 10th.
