Janet was born in Houston, TX on January 17, 1940. She grew up in Beaumont, TX, graduating from St. Anthony High School and later, Lamar University. Janet worked as an interior designer and event planner. Outside of work, she loved being social. Her hobbies were tennis, Canasta, and Bunko, as well as throwing parties. She was also interested in politics and was a volunteer on the McCain and Romney campaigns. She wanted her humor to be shared with others after she passed, as can be seen by her witty epitaph.
