Richard was survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Bertram Burris, whom he married on July 19th, 1982 in Wayne County, Kentucky; one step daughter, Shannon Simpson Corder; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky.
