Charles Francois, A mechanic and resident and native of Cottonport, he died at 9:21 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1996, at Bunkie General, Bunkie. He was 57, born Oct. 16, 1939. Visiting was held at Escude Funeral Home, Cottonport, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home 9 a.m. Thursday until time of services. Religious services at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. William Provosty. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery No. 2. Survived by wife, Lynelle Brouillette Francois; three daughters, Jenny Francois, Martha Guidry and Pamela Francois, all of Gonzales; and 12 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Winnie Juneau Francois; and a son, "Pookie" Francois.
