BURLINGTON, VT. - Mrs. Cornelius A. Hayes, passed away yesterday morning, November 21st 1944 at the home of her daughter; Mrs. James J. Carney of 114 North Willard Street in Burlington, Vt.
She was born on March 25th 1867 in Lake Placid, N.Y., and had lived in Burlington, Vt. for about 60 years.
She was a member of St. Anne's Society of the Cathedral Parish Church, a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and had attended the Cathedral Parish Church since coming to Burlington, Vt.
She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. James J. Carney and Mrs. Edward J. McGinnis, Waban, Mass., two sons; Arthur E. Hayes and William J. Hayes, both of Burlington, Vt., and 13 grandchildren.

Interment will be at the Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington, Vt.
