Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. James Carroll Gibson and Eva Jane Houston Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Wiley Gibson and a sister, Geneva Elliott. Eloise was a member of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, planting flowers, working on puzzles, crafts and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday at Liberty Baptist Church. Rev. Carson Gibson, Rev. Jason Smith, Rev. John Hartley and Rev. Michael Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in the Shepherd Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Macon Funeral Home.
