Able Seaman - HMS Victoria
service number 126176

He was one of the 358 who died when another battleship, HMS Camperdown, collided with the Victoria in the Mediterranean off the coast of Tripoli.

The Victoria was badly holed and capsized and sank within 15 minutes with it's engines still running and propellers turning.

The wreck was discovered in 2004 and was found to be standing vertically with its bow buried 30 meters into the sea bed and the stern towards the surface.
