Vivian Lukas, age 88, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John R. Lukas; son, Patrick Jones; and parents, Walter Porter and Vivian Gertrude Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Greg Jarrard, Gainesville, GA and Lee Garrity, Jupiter, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Preston and Cindi Jones, Collierville, TN; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ocala - Vivian Lukas, 88, of Gainesville, GA (previously long time resident of Ocala) passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by her family after an extended illness.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John R. Lukas; son, Patrick Jones; and parents, Walter Porter and Vivian Gertrude Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Greg Jarrard, Gainesville, GA; Lee Garrity, Jupiter, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Preston and Cindi Jones, Collierville, TN; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Vivian was a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution)
A memorial service will be held on April 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. at 1st United Methodist Church on S.S. Blvd and a Celebration of Life at Crestwood Village North from 12:30-3:30, at the pool pavillon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer or Heart Society.
