Mary Jane (Hislop) Brubaker, 80, died December 17, 2012 at home in the arms of her family after a short illness. She was born March 25, 1932 in Huntsville, Utah to Charles Henry and Mabel Hislop. She graduated from Weber High School and later Ogden Business College. In 1953 she married Charles Edward Brubaker in Nampa, Idaho. She raised a family of three daughters and two sons. Her life was a lesson in pride of family. She taught us the most important task in life was to love and support your family. She was preceded in death by daughter Trula Carlisle and her husband, Ed. She is survived by daughters Monica Ann Stafflund and Mary Alice Bennett, two sons John and Mike, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd, with a vigil and prayer service at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 South Redwood Rd. Interment to follow services at Redwood Memorial Park
