Ann J. Linch, 79, of Fayetteville passed away on May 27, 2017. She was born on August 29, 1937 in Haralson, GA to Wayne and Edna Johnson.

She retired from Wells Fargo after 30 years of service. Ann was very active at New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville. She was also a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her dearly and also her many friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles “Chuck” Linch, her parents and her brother, Samuel Johnson.

She is survived by her children, David Linch and Nancy Grace, and their children John David and Lucy Linch, of Atlanta; Donna and Steve Abrams, and their children, Nick and Zach Abrams, of Suwanee; and Rev. Mike and Anne Linch, and their children, Casey and Mary-Michal Linch, of Kennesaw; her brother, Jim (Ruth) Johnson of Fayetteville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Rev. Mike Linch and Dr. Ike Reighard officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with Dr. Hugh Kirby officiating The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Southwest Christian Hospice, www.swchristiancare.org.
