Nora Agnes Dalby was the fifth child of her mother Amanda Mitchell Dalby,the second wife of Warren Knight and the daughter of Mark M Mitchell. She was the twelfth Dalby child of her father Warren Knight Dalby. She married Richard Julian Smith , a minister of the Methodist Conference, in the latter part of 1897. Due to the nature of his calling, they moved about quite a bit. They purchased the Warren Knight Dalby homestead after her mother left Dalby Springs in 1901. Known children:(1) Mary Lena Smith married Robert Carlock Morris of Winsboro, Wood Co, Texas(2) Richard Julian Smith Jr married 1st to Jewel Burks of Dallas, Texas 2nd to Bertha Ruth of Dallas, Texas (3)Leonard Fenton married allene Bartley (4) Warren Keith Smith married Helen Grace Davidson.
